questions you may have, check the Q&A/FAQ,
Other Security or,
Password Security pages first. If none of
these answer your question(s), send me
Feedback and
I'll get to you as soon as possible.
This site is dedicated to SAFE HEX.
Just like we practice Safe Sex, so should we practice
Safe Hex. That is, protect our computers and the data we use
from destruction and manipulation through knowledge. We cover, virus info
and disinformation, password protection, physical and even environmental
security. Other subjects are also covered. The content here is all original
and not borrowed. If you find it useful, please let me know.
Basically, depending upon your fancy, you can visit the
What's Hot page. It covers various subjects I believe of both local
and national interest. Next is the Q&A/FAQ
page. A lot of good info in there. It will dispell of a of myths that seem
to be taken as fact! Don't forget to visit it.
The FTP page let's you download the current versions
of anti-virus software direct from their source in most cases. The
Password Security page covers
just that. You'll think twice about your chosen password after reading
this. The Other Security page covers other
security issues in a sort of FAQ like in Q&A. The Web
Info page covers starting points on the web along with numerous links to
local web authors and organizations to include the schools. If nothing
else, visit
Tom Rightmer's page or his
son Nate's or
the Jay Wood Memorial pages.
The Reports page is just that. Basically local
reports and trends regarding virus infections. The
Resume and Consulting pages are about me.
Just a little self promotion regarding anything not covered above and
some background. The
Guestbook is just that. It has one nice feature though, people can
click straight to your site or send mail because of the format. If nothing
else, it lets me know who's visiting this site and from where.
I hope you enjoy your visit.
