Jacob HYDRICK b 1744/55 Germany was in SC 1790 census 2 males 16 & over, 3 males under 16, and 2 females. In 1800 he was in Edgefield Co. SC -- 3 males 0/10, 1m 10/16, 1m 26/45 and 1f 10/16, and 1f 26/45. In 1810 he was in Orangeburg Co. SC. I have not found name of wife.
From book"The Descendants of Jacob H. Hydrick" by Onan Augustus Hydrick we get most of
family from SC. From "Old Big Grandma and Her Hydrick Family" by A. Odessa Hydrick we
get the branch that went to ARK. One of the men born 1744/55 was JACOB Sr, the other was
Hathhorn (He voted in 1813 in Orange Parish SC), James 1790/1800, John 1785/90 m Mary
died TN on way to ARK, female name unknown 1784/90, Jacob Jr 3 Mar 1790 GER. and Powell
1796 (He went to GA).
I'm a descendant of Martha HYDRICK and James DAVIS m bef 1841 GA and had 1st child
Lucinda 1841 GA m. a Mr SMITH, Eli 1846 AL, William 1849 AL, Martha 1854 AL, Nancy Jane
1857 Pike Co. AL m Timothy DUCK, and Josiah 1860 AL.
I'm trying to find descendants of Powell HYDRICK and am gathering all data on any of these
families I can find.
Sarah DUCKWORTH married William ROBESON born 1763 in VA. He fought in the Rev War.
In early 1800's they moved to Turkey Creek in Buncombe Co. NC.Their children were:

Has anyone an idea of the parents of Sarah DUCKWORTH?
Andrew AKIN born about 1730 Ireland married Peggy BASS about 1750
Philadelphia PA. They had 4 children.
(1) James AKIN born 1755 died 15 Jan 1822 Brush Creek, Green Co. KY. He married Mary MURPHY.
(2)Sam AKIN went to SC. (3) Moses AKIN went to TN (4) Susan AKIN never married. She went to KY.
I’d love to know anything about Andrew, Peggy, James, Mary, Sam, Moses or Susan.
My line is through James and Mary, so I know a little of their family and descendants,
but really would like to learn of this family.
George TERRY lived in Hanover Co. VA and Charlotte Co. VA (he was on the 1782 census in Charlotte Co.). He died 3 Jan 1803 in Charlotte Co. VA. He was married twice - first to Miss PETTUS, daughter of Stephen PETTUS and Mary DABNEY. George and Miss Pettus had 9 children:

(6)Dabney Terry born 1760/1770 died Nov 1846 at Halifax Co. VA married 5 Apr 1791 in Charlotte Co. VA to Frances HAILEY born 1760/1770 died bef Nov 1849

(8)Matthew Terry married Chaney ROBINSON and he died 7 Apr 1800 in Caswell Co. NC
(9)Susanna Terry married Isaac HANEY and she died 29 Sep 1791
George TERRY Sr married second Fanny________and they had 7 children but only 6 were named in his will. Children:

(3)Lucy Terry
(4)Anne Terry
(5)William Hulett Terry
(6)Henry Buck Terry
I’d like very much to know the parents and siblings of George Terry; the maiden name of
Fanny, his second wife; any or all of his descendants; and spouses of his children would be a help.
