Mary Shoun and Peter P. Parkey

Mary "Polly" Shoun (1894-1850) was the second born child of Leonard Shoun and Barbara Virginia Slemp. She married Peter P. Parkey (1794-1858), on 14 December 1816 in Carter County, Tennessee. Mary Polly moved to Hancock County to live with Peter, and there they raised twelve children, ten of them to maturity and marriage.
