David Henderson Shoun and Sarah D. Baker

      David Henderson Shoun (9 January 1917-30 October 1850) was the fifteenth child born to Leonard Shoun and Barbara Virginia Slemp. He married Sarah D. Baker (11 April 1817-6 August 1888) on 26 February 1846 in Johnson County, Tennessee. David and Sarah had only one daughter, and David died before the age of 33.
      Sarah remarried on 14 May 1853 to Joseph Sutherland, also in Johnson County. Joseph had been married twice before hand, and was the father of 16 children. In the 1860 Johnson County census, Sarah was living by herself, and in the 1870 and 1880 census, Sarah was living with her daughter, Margaret.
