DANIEL(S), FULLER, CONAWAY - Seeking information on the Daniel(s) family who came to Oklahoma or Indian Territory in the late 1880s to early 1900s. They were closely associated with the E.M. & Frank Fuller families. The Daniel(s) parents were deceased, probably died in or around Palo Pinto Co., TX. Father's name is unknown, but mother may have been Eliza Conaway. 1880 Palo Pinto Co., TX census: Eliza 48 GA, Amanda 19, John W. 16, Thomas 13, Ella 10, James H. 8 and Jasper Newton 4; Lawrence 27 with his family; Peter L. 25 with his family and Mary Conaway 70 GA, grandmother, assumed to be Eliza's mother. Family history is that the father was killed by Indians 5 months after Jasper was born in 1876 and the mother died, leaving Jasper an orphan. He was raised by Lawrence. It is believed that John was killed in a cattle drive stampede in Texas. Further history says the family lost their house, etc., in a fire and that is when they moved to O.T., probably the Apache, Caddo County area. It is believed that all of the Daniel(s) brothers and sisters moved at the same time and that the E.M. & Frank Fuller families moved with them as Elizabeth Daniel(s) was married to E.M. Fuller.

MARSHALL, BOWMAN: My great-grandfather, Calvin Marshall was born in Carroll Co., VA in 1861. He divorced his first wife, Susan Martha Bowman in the late 1800's and moved to Paris, Lamar Co., TX. sometime thereafter, and I have no idea when, he moved to Altus, Jackson Co., OK. He married a second time to a woman named Willie, whose surname is in question, perhaps Camel/Campbell, but another source says it may have been Wright. Willie and Calvin only had one ot two children who lived to adulthood. Their son, William, married a woman named Phoebe. Again, conflicting information says that another cousin, George Calvin Marshall, a veteran of WWII, was either the child of Calvin and Willie or the child of William and Phoebe. Grandpa Calvin died on his ranch in the Altus area in the late 1930's and was buried in Paris, TX. Any information on Calvin, Willie, William, Phoebe or George Calvin Marshall would be appreciated.
